Quick post!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share some star wars pegs I made! A friend asked if I had any other characters in addition to Yoda, so I put some together!

So my son LOVES them, so after I'm done my friend's star wars order, I will get to making Bug's little set :)

dripping in bows!

While at Michael's Craft store this weekend I snapped up some mega cute ribbon for cheap! So this morning I finished up with bows and this is what we came up with!

The clip.  I used a larger one, and I am able to put almost half of A's hair up.

Bows and Pegs and bows and pegs!

Hey everyone!
I ran out of supplies again friday night,  so my wonderful Man took us on a hunt for pegs! We ended up about an hour away and 2 stores later and I stocked up!  I also picked up some fun ribbon!

On sunday, my big girl and I painted pegs while all the rest napped, I love crafting with her! She painted the two aliens, and I tried out Homer Simpson.

These aliens will be listed for sale on Etsy as well!

A lady I used to work with, requested some Owl bows for her daughter's!

 This set is ready to ship/sell and will be listed on etsy too :)

All in all this weekend was busy and we got a lot accomplished!

Back on track!

Now that my family is well again I've been sneaking any time that I can to paint some pegs! In addition to those, I have made two astronauts! Talk about CUTE! I'll show a photo of the Space Pegs tomorrow!

Well so I took Yoda's advise.. and posted my first listing on Etsy! You can view the listing here!

I've had the store for about 2 weeks , the name for a bit longer and I just couldn't bring myself to make the listing! But I did and I'm really excited!

I made two Yoda's and one is going to my son's best friend for his birthday, if anything his mom (my best friend) will love it! My son was really excited to see it this morning before school!

LE SICK

Thursday my eldest daughter was the 23rd child sent home (by 11am) a bunch of children were hit with the UGLY viral gastro she napped once she got home, asked to eat ran around and all was fine. I decided to keep both children home Friday because 23 kids being sent home.... SKEEERD me.. Big time.

All was well Friday too! Everyone feeling fine, eating their faces off and having fun! I sent them to their Dad's for the weekend and picked up A for a birthday party! (She was still fine peeps!) I went to pick her up at 4pm after I ate my face off, came home at 430 and somehow had a sore belly, well shoot I figured it was the HUGE peice of cake I had enjoyed after eating my face off.. Well boy was I wrong. I started with the ugly sick, then Poppa , and the next day the wee babe (well she'll be 2 next month!!). It hit me and Poppa really hard, thank goodness for A because she helped keep M busy, she was very understanding and patient. M threw up about 3 times and then she was fine. I am still recovering! So after we clean clean clean clean things will be back up and running! and I hope to list my first post on etsy!

Crafty Wedding

In my first post I mentioned helping out a friend of mine with her wedding, well I wanted to share the bouquet I made for her jr. bridesmaid. I loved it so much I almost wanted to keep it for myself!!

It is made with a bunch of beautiful peices, buttons, earrings, broken jewelry and knick knacks, brooches and even a ring from the Dollarama! Take a look at it! Isn't it lovely?

Home made Valentines

It was 2 days ago that I realized that we hadn't bought any Valentine cards for the big kid's classes.. I really didn't feel like buying them and the kids had a hard time chosing what kind they would like..

So Monday, we headed off to the dollar store and picked up some doilies, red foam sheets, stickers and candy bags!

A majority of the cards had cute little heart people drawn on them or made of hearts they had cut out. I made 20 mini korker bows on bobby pins and Buggy and A put them on the cards for the girls, apparently they were a hit! We hot glued everything together since this mama forgot to buy glue sticks and put some gumballs in the baggies.. The cards turned out really well, so much cuter than any store-bought ones in my opinion! Buggy was really impressed, and I'm really happy about that too because I was worried they would have preferred store-bought over their labours of love!
